Runway closures for PCI inspection
On August 16th and 17th the Division of Aeronautics will be conducting their PCI (Pavement Condition Index) on all airport surfaces, with the exception of RWY 11L/29R. Inspections will start with RWY 11R/29L at 7:00 a.m. on the 16th. Please refer to NOTAMs during this time. The Division of Aeronautics will work with the tower to ensure safe operating conditions while conducting these surface inspections.
The PCI inspections on RWY 11L/29R and its connectors will be conducted in September while closed for Taxiway Alpha construction. Please call 303-271-4850 with question regarding this project.
TSA Presentation – Saturday, August 12, 2006
There will be a TSA presentation and open discussion on security for general aviation on Saturday, August 12th from 8:00 to 10:30 am in the Mt. Evans Room (located in the main terminal building). The Denver TSA Office of Regulatory Compliance and John Steadman, Aviation Security Inspector will host the presentation. This presentation will cover topics such as airport security, aircraft security, securing general aviation threats, and the alien flight student program. There will also be time for questions and discussions.
