Reporting to the Workforce Investment Board (WIB), the Youth Council creates a pathway to economic success for youth (ages 14 to 21) through the influence of policy and practice in Jefferson, Gilpin and Clear Creek counties.  This is accomplished by strengthening the future workforce to incorporate an engaging and practical youth development perspective.

    Meeting Schedule

The Youth Council usually meets on the third Tuesday afternoon of every month.  The agenda is posted a week before each public meeting.

    Join the Youth Council

Employers, community agencies, parents and youth are welcome to submit an application to join our Youth Council.  The application process (which takes four to six weeks) requires appointment of new Council Members by the Workforce Investment Board.
