    Griffin, Faye

    District 1 Commissioner
    2009 – 2015

    Republican

Faye Griffin was sworn-in to her first term as the Jefferson County Commissioner for District 1 in January 2009.  She was re-elected to a second term and sworn-in January 2013.  It is believed that she may have the distinction of being the only elected official in Jefferson County history to be elected to three separate county offices: county commissioner, treasurer and clerk and recorder.  She served as the Jefferson County Clerk & Recorder from 1999-2007 and Jefferson County Treasurer from 2007-2009.  She was re-elected as the Jefferson County Clerk & Recorder in November 2014 and sworn-in January 2015.  She first joined the county staff under Clerk and Recorder Norm Allen.  She worked in the clerk’s office for 24 years, ascending to chief deputy under Joan Fitz-Gerald before running for election.  Griffin is a Jeffco native who graduated from Golden High School.
