Elimination of Property Tax Exemption for Seniors

Jefferson County Assessor's Office Status Report:

Disabled Veterans Property Tax Exemption is not effected by this bill.

May 20, 2010: Governor Ritter signed Senate Bill 10-190 which eliminates the Senior Property Tax Exemption for the years 2010 and 2011 affecting taxes payable in 2011 and 2012.
