Boards & Commissions: County Cultural Council

The Jefferson County Cultural Council (JCCC) serves as the advisory body to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) as they make their recommendations for the distribution of tier III funds generated by the Scientific Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).

Number of openings: 0
Submit an annual plan to distribute revenues to scientific and cultural facilities in accordance with the statute

Required or suggested qualifications:
2 members shall represent each of the 3 County Commissioner districts and 1 shall be at large.

Meetings:
Set by council

Number of persons and length of terms:

  • Seven (7) regular members- three (3) year term
  • Members cannot serve more than 2 succeeding terms.

None
