Boards & Commissions: Board of Adjustment

Number of openings:  0

Duties:
To consider granting variances in cases where a property owner cannot meet the standards in their zone district; to consider granting special exceptions for temporary activities and to consider appeals of the Zoning Administrator's written decisions, determinations and interpretations.

Schedule:

• First and third Wednesday of each month
• Pre-Meeting: 8:30 a.m.
• Public Hearing: 9:00 a.m.

Pre-Meetings are held in room 1568 (behind Hearing Room One on the First Floor) of the Jefferson County Administration and Courts Facility, 100 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden, Colorado 80419.

Public Hearings are held in Hearing Room One of the Jefferson County Administration and Courts Facility, 100 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden, Colorado 80419.

Number of persons and length of terms:

• Five (5) regular members- three (3) year term
• Two (2) alternate members- one (1) year term

Remuneration:

• $20.00 per meeting
• $20.00 per field trip
