One tool the Jeffco Board of County Commissioners is using to provide information to citizens is telephone town halls. This popular way to reach out to citizens has helped the commissioners get in touch with thousands of citizens in just an hour each time. It allows citizens to listen, ask questions or answer polling questions without leaving home. It has been successful in gaining important feedback from Jeffco residents.
*New to 2016, citizens can pre-register to participate in telephone town halls. You can pre-register your cell phone by texting the code JEFFCO to 828282 or you can go online to vekeo.com/jeffcocolorado to sign up and listen to the meeting live.
