    Applicants Needed for the Community Development Advisory Board

    The Community Development Advisory Board makes recommendations to the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners regarding matters related to community development, housing, and economic development for low and moderate income residents. It recommends to the commissioners recipients for federal funds made available to Jefferson County from the Community Development Block Grants, HOME Investment Partnerships Program and similar grants.

    Community Development Advisory Board requires members to represent the interests of different segments of the community, including but not limited to, low income citizens and neighborhoods, business industry, economic development, labor, religious, law enforcement, education, or other major groups and interests in the community.

    Applications can be found online or by calling the commissioners' office at 303-271-8525. Completed applications can be emailed to commish@jeffco.us or mailed to:
