The Colony Years is all about the establishment of colonies and towns up and down the front range while Charles Boettcher was becoming known for his tinware and service to the area's farmers and ranchers.
This is a monthly, year-long series leading up to the 1917 construction of Charles Boettcher’s beloved “Lorraine Lodge” on top of Lookout Mountain. It begins with 17-year-old Charles’ arrival in America.
