    Risk Management helps protect and ensure safety of all Jefferson County assets, including personnel, buildings, automobiles and equipment. This is done through effective loss prevention, loss control and claims management. Risk Management staff works proactively to keep county facilities as safe as possible for the public, support a safe workplace for county employees and minimize the total cost of risk to Jefferson County.

    Risk Management is responsible for property and liability Insurance; workers' compensation; and occupational health and safety.
