Becky Baker is the Director of the Building Division for unincorporated Jefferson County, Colorado. She has held this position since 1996.

She first became a building official in 1984. Baker holds a variety of professional certifications. She is one of three individuals in the division certified in the professions highest standard, Master Code Professional. Other certifications include Certified Building Official, Energy Code Specialist, Commercial Combination Inspector, Plans Examiner, Mechanical Inspector, Plumbing Inspector, Electrical Inspector and Fire Inspector.

Becky has received the President's Award from both the Colorado Component of the American Institute of Architects and the Denver Metro Building Owners and Managers Association.

Becky is an Honorary Member of the International Code Council (ICC), a past president of the Colorado Chapter of the ICC and currently participates on several state and national committees.
