About the Projects and Subcommittees

The subcommittees of the Criminal Justice Strategic Planning Committee serve as project and policy recommendation teams that research and analyze priority issues identified by the Criminal Justice Strategic Planning Committee (CJSPC). The three current subcommittees are System Performance, Prevention, and Mental Health & Substance Abuse. Each subcommittee typically meets once per month to work on initiatives that will help the CJSPC achieve its mission and address its priority areas.

There are a few projects underway that are not directly affiliated with the three subcommittees. These projects are described on the CJSPC Projects page.

The subcommittees' meeting schedule is as follows:

Prevention Subcommittee, 1st Thursday, 8:00 - 9:30 a.m.
Mental Health & Substance Abuse, 2nd Tuesday, 12:00 - 1:30 p.m.
System Performance, 3rd Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
