Adoptive parents become a 'forever family' to youth who can no longer live with their biological family due to unresolved concerns for their safety and well-being.
Izaiah is a very active kid who loves to ride his bike, play outside, and search for all types of creatures. Very knowledgeable about animals, it’s no wonder he loves all he meets. Izaiah enjoys playing video games, and likes to go out to eat his favorite food, pizza. In the sixth grade, Izaiah is interested in making new friends and has been described as a very likeable boy.
Samuel is a business minded teen with an entrepreneurial spirit! He has strong social skills and enjoys conversation, especially when he can provide motivation and encouragement to others. Samuel is creative, artistic, and athletic; he enjoys a variety of sports, and has a special interest in wrestling. This hard working tenth-grader enjoys interacting with peers and adults, and is mindful of how his behavior impacts others.
These kids have an undeniable bond! Isaiah is a boy with a fun personality who loves sports and enjoys video games and hunting. Savannah has an array of interests ranging from soccer and playing outdoors, to fashion and playing her trumpet. Aurieanna is a girl with a kind, caring, and relaxed disposition who loves to draw, color, make bracelets, and read.
The Collaborative Foster Care Program (CFCP) has nearly 50 children/youth waiting for their forever family. To learn more about the kids, see our Meet Our Kids page. Youth who have been removed from their home are reunified with their family 80-90% of the time. Of the 10-20% of youth who are not able to safely return home, about half are adopted by a relative and half are adopted by their current foster family.
A family who becomes certified with the Collaborative Foster Care Program is eligible to adopt from any one of our three counties. To learn more about our youth who are seeking an adoptive family, please visit each county website individually (links are listed below).
If you only desire to adopt a child under the age of 10, or you are not interested in any of our current waiting children, we recommend that you contact the Adoption Exchange for a list of adoption or placement agencies.
As a certified Collaborative Foster Care Program family, you have access to children waiting for adoption in any of the three counties. Follow the links below to each county’s page for information on the children waiting for adoption in their county.
