Federal Stimulus Funds Available in Jefferson County
Jefferson County has been awarded $6.01 Million Dollars in Federal NSP Funds. In addition, there are now $295,014 in CDBG-R and $589,891 in CSBG-R under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Work Training Experience Program
The Community Services Advisory Board has developed a Work Training Experience Program that will provide immediate assistance to those most in need - the unemployed residents of Jefferson County. The program will use CSBG-R funds to provide salary and benefits to newly hired employees. Read more.
