Members

Kate Cook is a community volunteer and consultant in Jefferson County.  She brings a strong community planning and development background to the board in addition to her experience in working with a diverse group of community partners.

Renee' Desai is a Vice President with Bank of the West.  She has extensive experience in working with boards and partners involved in community improvements and development.

Deborah Hughes is a real estate professional focusing on affordable rehabilitation and ownership. She has experience with the challenges facing both rural and urban residents seeking affordable homes and has in-depth knowledge about costs associated with affordable home ownership and rental units within Colorado. Ms. Hughes is a former member of the Community Services Advisory Board.

Denise Stephens is the Director of the Jefferson County Business Resource Center; she has direct knowledge and exposure to those agencies seeking to establish themselves in Jefferson County, as well as the barriers they may face.

Heather Gutherless is a Planner with the Jefferson County Planning and Zoning Division. She has extensive experience with the need for affordable housing and opportunities in Jefferson County, as well as the barriers that developers and investors must overcome.
