Community Development Block Grants

Jefferson County uses Community Development Block Grant funds to improve physical structures throughout the county.  Below you will find just a handful of the many projects that we have recently supported.

• Reconstruction - Buffalo Creek area (flood-damaged water distribution center).
• Acquisition/Rehab - Jeffco Juvenile Assessment Center, Jeffco Child Advocacy Center, Mountain Family Resource Center, Jeffco Action Center Homeless Shelter.
• City Projects - Edgewater, Golden, Mountain View sidewalk and playground modifications.  Pleasant View city-wide clean up.
