Child Support Services

Eligibility Exceptions

The Child Support Program helps families, however here are a few reasons that one could be ineligible for our services.

Current support is no longer due because child/ren have emancipated.
If you are an individual or family member with another child support case in another county within Colorado, or another state.
If your court orders do not have a judge's or magistrate's signature.
Failure to pay the $20.00 application fee (except for those on Temporary Aide to Needy Families) and provide required documentation.

We may also require that you sign an Affidavit of Arrears and/or an Arrears Calculation stating how much back support (arrears) is owed. Arrears are debts that are overdue.

You will be contacted if you need to fill out any of these forms.
