Closing Your Case

As an applicant, you may withdraw your application at any time. 

In order to withdraw an application, simply send your request in writing to the Jefferson County Child Support office.  You may also call the department for additional assistance.  See what Child Support has to offer!

Former Public Assistance Clients
If you are no longer receiving financial public assistance from the county, you may withdraw your application at any time. Medicaid and food stamps are not considered financial public assistance.  However, if there is money owed to the State of Colorado or another state, collection of this debt will continue.
