The Family Support Registry
Payment Processing
Jefferson County partners with the Family Support Registry (FSR) to handle payment processing.
Are you receiving child support payments through the FSR, but don't have an open child support enforcement case with a county office? Open a case now.
Your child support payments are disbursed from this office. In addition, the FSR provides the following services:
- Processing of child support payments
- Disbursement of child support payments
- Monthly notice of child support obligations (payment coupons)
- Providing selected customer service
Payment Options
*New* Western Union - Non-custodial parents can pay with cash, MasterCard, VISA, or Discover by phone, online from anywhere. Alternatively, non-custodial parents can pay in person at a Western Union Agent location. More >>
Direct withdrawal/deposit - Non-custodial parents can choose the date and amount to be deducted from a checking or savings account. Custodial parents can have their payments deposited directly into a checking or savings account to reduce the risk of check loss as well as the time delay due to mail processing.
Reliacard - Reliacard, available to custodial parents only, is a Visa card that allows child support payments to be deposited to the card. You are automatically qualified with no credit check, bank account or application required. It gives you the power of Visa, but because you're using your own money it's not considered a credit card.
For more information or to to sign up for any of these options (except Western Union), contact the FSR at 303-299-9123 or contact your Child Support Enforcement office.
