Commissioner Sheehan moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-017

RE: COMMUNITY RESOURCES - PROSPECT RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT - INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT AND AGREEMENT AND LEASE

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the recommendation, and authorize the execution of the Intergovernmental Agreement and Agreement and Lease between Jefferson County and Prospect Recreation and Park District.

Authorization for: 1) the Chairman of the Board to execute the Intergovernmental Agreement and Agreement and Lease and other related documents between Jefferson County and Prospect Recreation and Park District; 2) the County Attorney's Office to cause said documents to be recorded in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of Jefferson County; 3) the Director of Administrative Services to request a warrant in the amount of the fund balance in the District Fund, as of December 31, 1999, less $50,000 to be retained by the County; and 4) the Director of Administrative Services to prepare a Treasurer's check in the amount representing the current balance, plus applicable interest, in the Parks for the Future Fund.

Commissioner Lawrence seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Patricia B. Holloway, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
