Commissioner Lawrence moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-027

RE: COMMUNITY RESOURCES - OPEN SPACE - CONTRACT - LAYNE-WESTERN FOR CROWN HILL PARK WELL CONSTRUCTION

Resolved that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the contract between the County and Layne-Western in an amount not to exceed $138,820.00 for well construction services.

The County's authorized representative is Charles Hudson or other person as may be designated by the Division Director or County Administrator. The authorized representative may approve any change order provided that no combination of change orders shall increase the total price payable under this contract by more than five (5) percent or an amount greater than $145,761.00.

Anticipated completion of the project: April 2000

Commissioner Holloway seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote as follows:

Commissioner Michelle Lawrence Aye Commissioner Patricia B. Holloway Aye
Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of Law Enforcement Authority of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
