Commissioner Holloway moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-049

RE: COMMUNITY RESOURCES - OPEN SPACE - REQUEST FOR TRAILS 2000 FUNDING OF THE FIRST SEGMENT OF THE BEAR CREEK TRAIL, TOWN OF MORRISON

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the funding request for the first segment of the Bear Creek Trail as part of the Trails 2000 Plan. Funds for the 80% share for which Jefferson County Open Space has committed will be taken from a portion of the 1999 funding for the Clear Creek Trail from the Trails 2000 Plan.

Commissioner Sheehan seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Patricia B. Holloway Aye
Commissioner Michelle Lawrence Absent
Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
