Commissioner Holloway moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-085

RE: COMMUNITY RESOURCES - OPEN SPACE - RAMSTETTER WEST OS94-008

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the execution of a pending Purchase and Sale Agreement for the acquisition of 142 acres, more or less, located west of Highway 93 and south of 56th Avenue, for the purchase price of $9,000 per purchased acre. The property will be used for open space and other County purposes as set forth below, in accordance with Board of County Commissioner Resolution CC98-700, and Resolution CC98-755, and further in accordance with Board of County Commissioners Resolution CC00-083.

Authorization for: 1) the Chairman of the Board to execute the pending Agreement for Purchase and Sale and all related documents; 2) the Director of Open Space, the Director of Human Services or their designee to sign the closing documents; 3) the Chairman of the Board or Assistant County Attorney, Anne Kelson, to accept the deed(s), any conservation easement which may be donated on an adjacent approximately 35 acre parcel, and other documents when received; 4) the County Attorney's Office to cause said deed(s) or documents to be recorded in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of Jefferson County; 5) Jefferson County to pay one-half the closing costs to the Title company; 6) and the Treasurer or his designee to make an electronic payment for the purchase price and transaction costs, using specific payment delivery instructions to be provided by the Director of Accounting; 7) One half of the cost of the acquisition will be from either Open Space sales tax funds, or Jefferson County's Open Space Bond Funds, and the other half will be from other sources of County funds.

Commissioner Lawrence seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
