Commissioner Lawrence moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-168

RE: PUBLIC WORKS - ROAD AND BRIDGE - RENEW CONTRACT - QUALITY RESURFACING COMPANY FOR SLURRY SEAL

Resolved that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves a renewal of the contract between the County and Quality Resurfacing Company in an amount not to exceed $276,027.00 to provide and apply slurry seal on various County streets.

The County's authorized representative is Wiley Timbrook or other person as may be designated by the Division Director of County Administrator. The authorized representative may approve any change order provided that no combination of change orders shall increase the total price payable under this contract by more than five (5) percent or an amount greater than $289,828.35.

Anticipated completion of the project: September 2000.

Commissioner Holloway seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Patricia B. Holloway Aye
Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
