Commissioner Lawrence moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-263

RE: SHERIFF - CONTRACT - GRINNELL FIRE PROTECTION FOR RETROFIT AND UPGRADE OF FIRE ALARM SYSTEM AT DETENTION CENTER

Resolved that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the contract between the County and Grinnell Fire Protection in an amount not to exceed $159,500.00 to retrofit and upgrade the existing fire alarm system at the Jefferson County Detention Center.

The County's authorized representative is Don Varwig or other person as may be designated by the Sheriff. The authorized representative may approve any change order provided that no combination of change orders shall increase the total price payable under this contract by more than five (5%) of the total contract amount of $167,475.00.

The Contractor shall complete the work within seventy (70) calendar days of approval of the project submittals and drawings.

Commissioner Holloway seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
