Commissioner Holloway moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-273

RE: PUBLIC WORKS - ROAD AND BRIDGE - CONTRACT - THOUTT BROS. CONCRETE CONTRACTORS, INC. FOR CURB AND GUTTER REPLACEMENT

Resolved that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the contract between Jefferson County and THOUTT BROS. CONCRETE CONTRACTORS, INC. in the amount of $908,300.00 for curb and gutter replacement at various locations. The County's authorized representative is Wiley Timbrook, or other person as may be designated by the Division Director or County Administrator. The authorized representative may approve any change order, provided that no combination of change orders shall increase the total price payable under this contract by more than 5% or an amount greater than $953,715.00.

Completion of the work shall be by October 1, 2000 for all projects identified with notices to proceed issued prior to August 16, 2000. The contractor shall have forty-five (45) calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed to complete the work on all projects identified in notices to proceed issued on or after August 16, 2000.

Commissioner Lawrence seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
