Commissioner Holloway moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-275

RE: PUBLIC WORKS - ROAD AND BRIDGE - PURCHASE ORDERS - MULTIPLE VENDORS FOR PAVING MATERIALS

Resolved that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves an expenditure in an amount not to exceed $1,514,094.00 to multiple vendors for the purchase of asphalt. The recommended vendors are:

· Asphalt Paving Co.
· Camas Colorado Aggregate Industries, Asphalt Division
· Kiewit Western Co.
· Western Mobile Denver, a subsidiary of LaFarge Corp.

Asphalt mix will be picked up by County trucks on an "as needed" basis.

Commissioner Lawrence seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Patricia B. Holloway Aye
Commissioner Michelle Lawrence Aye
Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
