Commissioner Lawrence moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-330

RE: PUBLIC WORKS - HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION - RENEW CONTRACT - IDEAL FENCING CORPORATION FOR GUARDRAIL INSTALLATION

Resolved that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves a renewal of the contract between the County and Ideal Fencing Corporation in the amount of $171,799.73 for the installation of new guardrail at thirty-nine locations throughout the County.

The County's authorized representative is Dixie Shear, or other person as may be designated by the Department Director or County Administrator. The authorized representative may approve any change order provided that no combination of change orders shall increase the total price payable under this contract by more than five (5%) or an amount greater than $180,389.72.

The term of the renewal is August 17, 2000 to August 16, 2001.

Commissioner Holloway seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
