Commissioner Lawrence moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-341

RE: COUNTY ATTORNEY - AMENDMENTS TO LIQUOR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Resolved that the Board of County Commissioners hereby amends Section 2.6.2.1 of the Jefferson County Policies and Procedures Manual to give to the Jefferson County Liquor Licensing Authority such authority as is granted to local licensing authorities under the Colorado Beer Code as well as the Colorado Liquor Code.

Amend Section 5.80.1.5 of the Jefferson County Policies and Procedures Manual to allow the Clerk to the Board, with input from the Liquor Investigator, to designate the neighborhood in interest for a new beer license.

The Board ratifies all prior actions taken by the Liquor Licensing Authority to the extent they are consistent with the County Policies and Procedures Manual as amended by this Resolution.

Commissioner Holloway seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Patricia B. Holloway Aye
Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
