Commissioner Lawrence moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-352

RE: PUBLIC WORKS - HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION - CONTRACT - KECI COLORADO FOR 2000 TRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS

Resolved that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the contract between the County and K.E.C.I. Colorado in the amount of $620,072.00 for improvements to intersections and traffic signals. The County's authorized representative is Dixie Shear, or other person as may be designated by the Director of Highways and Transportation or the County Administrator. The authorized representative may approve any change order, provided that no combination of change orders shall increase the total price payable under this contract by more than 5% or an amount greater than $651,075.60.

Final completion of the project shall be within 90 days from the commencement of work.

Commissioner Holloway seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
