Commissioner Lawrence moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-363

RE: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS - APPOINTMENT OF A REGULAR MEMBER, KELLY ZINNA, CITIZEN MEMBER, TO THE JEFFERSON COUNTY CORRECTIONS BOARD

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. CC 83-408, the County entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement for community corrections in Jefferson County, Colorado, whereby this Board appoints all members of the Jefferson County Corrections Board (JCCB) and fills all vacancies; and

WHEREAS, JCCB regular member Bobby Zachariah has resigned from the Corrections Board; and

WHEREAS, Kelly Zinna has been nominated to be the citizen member representative on the Corrections Board; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is desirous of appointing to the JCCB forthwith a regular member pursuant to said Intergovernmental Agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Kelly Zinna, Citizen at Large, be and is hereby appointed as a regular member pursuant to the previously-referenced Intergovernmental Agreement.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the term of this appointment shall commence as of the effective date of this Resolution and shall continue indefinitely subject to the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners as provided by the JCCB Bylaws.

Commissioner Holloway seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
