Commissioner Holloway moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-448

RE: DISTRICT ATTORNEY - U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE GRANT AWARD

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the Domestic Violence Grant Award to the District Attorney awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice in the amount of $475,580 and authorizes the County Administrator to sign the grant award.

Commissioner Sheehan seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Patricia B. Holloway Aye
Commissioner Michelle Lawrence Absent
Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
