Commissioner Holloway moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-491

RE: PUBLIC WORKS - HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION - AMEND CONTRACT - CENTENNIAL ENGINEERING (D/B/A MK CENTENNIAL) FOR PHASE III ENGINEERING DESIGN FOR JC 73/SH 74 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the second amendment to the contract for consulting services with Centennial Engineering, Inc. (d/b/a MK Centennial) to do the Phase III engineering design work which includes the preliminary and final engineering design of the Preferred Alternative for the total amount of $805,050 which includes $420,580 for the "Base Contract Amount" and another $384,470 for any "Additional Services" that may be needed and authorized in writing by the County's Authorized Representative.

The County's Authorized Representative is Brad Bauer or another person as may be designated by the Department Director, or County Administrator.

Commissioner Lawrence seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Aye

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
