Commissioner Lawrence moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-518

RE: PUBLIC WORKS - HIGHWAYS & TRANSPORTATION - CONTRACT - WASHINGTON INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES, INC. FOR DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR SOUTH SIMMS STREET (KEN CARYL TO COAL MINE)

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the contract with Washington Infrastructure Services, Inc. [formerly Centennial Engineering, Inc. (d/b/a MK Centennial)] to do the engineering design for South Simms Street (West Ken Caryl Avenue to West Coal Mine Avenue) for the total amount of $593,850 which includes $400,850 for the "Base Contract Amount", and another $193,000 for any "Additional Services" that may be needed and authorized in writing by the County's Authorized Representative.

The County's Authorized Representative is Brad Bauer or another person as may be designated by the Department Director, or County Administrator.

Commissioner Lawrence seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jeffersond, State of Colorado.
