Commissioner Lawrence moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-546

RE: ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES – FACILITIES – LEASE AGREEMENT ADDENDUM – KIPLING PLACE LLC FOR MOTOR VEHICLE LEASE SPACE IN THE KIPLING PLACE SHOPPING CENTER

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby executes the Second Addendum to Lease Agreement dated August 30, 2000 between Jefferson County and Kipling Place LLC (successor-in-interest to the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company). This Second Addendum continues the lease for an additional five-year term and adjusts the lease rental rate on an annual basis during that five-year period. By executing this addendum, the new lease term will begin November 1, 2000 and terminate October 31, 2005. The annual lease rate during the first year of this new term will be $3,108.85 per month ($11.75 per square foot for 3,175 square feet of lease space), plus CAM (common-area maintenance) costs. The new lease rate has increased $3,682.92 annually.

Commissioner Holloway seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:
