Commissioner Holloway moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-560

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby executes the Gas Purchase and Sales Agreement between Jefferson County and the Montana Power Trading and Marketing Company for the purchase of natural gas for use by the Administration and Courts Building, Detention Facility, Road and Bridge Central and the Human Services Building. The contract runs from October 1, 2000, to and including September 30, 2001. The cost for this contract runs as follows: Rates will be based on F.E.R.C.'s first of the month Gas Market Report CIG @ index plus $0.15 per Dth, plus all supply and all firm service charges.

Commissioner Lawrence seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Richard M. Sheehan, Chairman Absent

The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
