Commissioner Holloway moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-597

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the recommendation made in the Open Space Advisory Committee Resolution Number 53-00 and authorize a survey, environmental site assessment, title commitment, and execution of transfer documents for the donation of 42 acres, more or less, contiguous to Flying J Ranch Open Space Park.

Authorization for: 1) the Chairman of the Board or Assistant County Attorney, Steven Snyder, to accept the deed(s) and other documents when received; 2) the County Attorney’s Office to cause said deed(s) or documents to be recorded in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of Jefferson County; 3) Jefferson County to pay all transaction costs from Jefferson County’s attributable share of the Open Space Bond Fund; and 4) and the Treasurer or his designee to make an electronic payment for the purchase price and transaction costs, using specific payment delivery instructions to be provided by the Director of Accounting.

Commissioner Lawrence seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
