Commissioner Lawrence moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-607

RE: SHERIFF – CONTRACT – COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, OFFICE OF TRANSPORTAITON SAFETY, FOR ACCEPTANCE OF DUI ENFORCEMENT GRANT FUNDS

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the contract between the County and the Department of Transportation, Office of Transportation Safety, for the purpose of receiving reimbursable overtime costs incurred by the Sheriff’s Office associated with DUI enforcement, not to exceed $41,000, and authorizes the Chairman to execute the contract. The term of the contract is January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2001.

Commissioner Holloway seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
