Commissioner Holloway moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC00-636

Resolved that the Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the execution of the Purchase and Sale Agreement between William B. Zendig and Jefferson County for the acquisition of approximately 117.372 acres, more or less. The property shall be purchased for $258,000, plus the costs of appraisal, closing fees and transaction costs.

Authorization for: 1) the Chairman of the Board to execute the Agreement for Purchase and Sale and all related documents; 2) the Chairman of the Board or Assistant County Attorney, Steve Snyder, to accept the deed(s) and other documents when received; 3) the County Attorney's Office to cause said deeds or other documents to be recorded in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of Jefferson County; 4) Jefferson County to pay the purchase price and all transaction costs from the Open Space Bond Account; 5) the Treasurer or his designee to make an electronic payment for the purchase price and transaction costs, using specific payment delivery instructions to be provided by the Director of Accounting.

Commissioner Lawrence seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
