Commissioner Ferdinandsen moved that the following Resolution be adopted:
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
MARIE LYKOU - ARVADA MOTOR VEHICLE BRANCH OFFICE -
CLERK AND RECORDER - NOTICE OF TERMINATION
Authorization for Chairman to execute a letter
terminating a Lease between the County and Ralph
William Ashton and Edith Marie Lykou
WHEREAS, the County entered into a Lease Agreement with Ralph William Ashton and Edith Marie Lykou dated August 11, 1986 for the lease of certain premises located at 7521 West 57th Avenue and 5727 Webster Street, Arvada, Colorado, for the use and benefit of the Clerk and Recorder of Jefferson County; and
WHEREAS, the Lease terminated on August 31, 1990 and has been occupied on a month to month tenancy since that date; and
WHEREAS, the County desires to terminate this month to month tenancy effective March 9, 1991.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, hereby and herewith approves the letter terminating the month to month tenancy between Jefferson County and Ralph William Ashton and Edith Marie Lykou, and authorizes the Chairman to execute the same.
Commissioner Clement seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:
Commissioner Rich Ferdinandsen AYE
Commissioner Marjorie E. Clement AYE
Commissioner John P. Stone, Chairman ABSENT
The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
