RESOLUTION NO. CC92-248

RE: EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS - ADVISORY BOARD

Appointments - To reappoint certain members of the

Emergency Preparedness Advisory Board

WHEREAS, this Board by resolution dated May 30, 1973, created an eight (8) member Jefferson County Emergency Preparedness Advisory Board (the "Advisory Board"); and

WHEREAS, the Advisory Board is comprised of certain elected or appointed officials who serve one (1) year terms and three (3) citizen members who serve two (2) year terms; and

WHEREAS, on January 14, 1992, County Commissioner, John P. Stone, was appointed to the Advisory Board as this Board's representative for 1992; and

WHEREAS, the terms of the other elected or appointed officials expired on or about January 31, 1992; and

WHEREAS, this Board desires to reappoint Ron L. Beckham, Sheriff; Nelson Nadeau, Director of Social Service; and Dr. Mark Johnson, Health Department Director to the Advisory Board.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, does hereby and herewith reappoint Ron L. Beckham, Sheriff; Nelson Nadeau, Director of Social Services; and Dr. Mark Johnson, Health Department Director; as elected and appointed official members of the Advisory Board to terms of one (1) year, said terms to expire on January 31, 1993, or until they are reappointed or replaced by this Board.

Commissioner Stone seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Rich Ferdinandsen AYE

Commissioner John P. Stone AYE

Commissioner Marjorie E. Clement, Chairman AYE

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
