BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
WESTERN RAILROAD COMPANY - STATE OF COLORADO -
UPGRADING CROSSING WARNING DEVICES - PUBLIC UTILITIES
COMMISSION APPLICATION
Approval of Public Utilities Application for upgrading
of crossing warning devices at 80th Avenue, and
authorization for the Chairman to execute the same.
WHEREAS, by Resolution CC91-947, the Board of County Commissioners approved a Contract for upgrading highway/roadway grade crossing warning devices under the Federal Section 130 Program at West 80th Avenue near Simms Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the District Coordinating Manager of the State Department of Highways has requested that the County proceed with the filing of an application to the Public Utilities Commission for authority to install signalization at the subject railroad crossing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, hereby and herewith approves the application to the Public Utilities Commission and authorizes the Chairman of the Board to execute the same.
Commissioner Ferdinandsen seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
