Commissioner Stone moved that the following Resolution be adopted:
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
ALTERNATES
JAMES L. JOHNSON; LYNN EASTON
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists for an Alternate on the Jefferson County Open Space Advisory Committee, after the appointment of Gary Kevin Smith from an Alternate to an At Large Representative on August 1, 1992; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado (the "Board"), to appoint James L. Johnson to the unexpired term of Gary Kevin Smith as an Alternate to the Jefferson County Open Space Advisory Committee for a term to expire January 31, 1994, or until reappointed or replaced by the Board of County Commissioners, to be effective as of the date of approval of this Resolution by the Board; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board to appoint Lynn Easton as a Second Alternate to the Open Space Advisory Committee for a term to expire January 31, 1994; and
WHEREAS, Open Space Policy Number 7.1.2.1.1.5 requires that if the Board appoints more than one Alternate, the Board shall establish priority among Alternates for voting purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board hereby and herewith appoints James L. Johnson and Lynn Easton as Alternates to the Jefferson County Open Space Advisory Committee for a term to expire January 31, 1994, or until reappointed or replaced by the Board of County Commissioners, said term of appointment to be effective as of the date of approval of this Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for voting purposes, the priorities shall be rotated between the two Alternates each meeting beginning with Jim Johnson at the first regular Open SpaceAdvisory Committee meeting following the approval of this Resolution.

The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
