@@Commissioner Ferdinandsen moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC92-741

RE: PUBLIC WORKS - ADMINISTRATION/JUDICIAL FACILITY - CTL/THOMPSON

WHEREAS, the County entered into a contract with CTL/Thompson for soils testing for the new Administration/Judicial Facility; and,

WHEREAS, additional testing in the areas of the service drive, main entrance drive and courtyard site wall is necessary to assure quality construction in these areas; and,

WHEREAS, CTL/Thompson has satisfactorily completed all testing services to date and the Construction Management Team recommends utilizing CTL/Thompson for these additional services; and,

WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Contract to increase the Contract amount by $6,000 to a not to exceed amount of $112,790.70.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado does hereby and herewith approve the Amendment to Contract and authorizes the Chairman to execute same.

Commissioner Stone seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Rich Ferdinandsen AYE

Commissioner John P. Stone AYE

Commissioner Marjorie E. Clement, Chairman AYE

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
