@@Commissioner Stone moved that the following Resolution be adopted:
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County is desirous of amending the Jefferson County Building Code as provided in the amendment attached hereto as Exhibit "A" to waive the requirement for a permit fee for home hearth appliances; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Board of County Commissioners was scheduled for the amendment of the existing Building Code by the repeal and re-enactment of the Uniform Mechanical Code at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 15, 1992; and
WHEREAS, based on the evidence presented by all interested parties at the hearing held on September 15, 1992, this Board makes the following findings:
1.That public notice of the September 15, 1992, public hearing on the amendment of the Jefferson County Building Code was published in the Golden Transcript, a designated County Newspaper, for four consecutive weeks as provided by law.
2.That the proposed amendment to the Jefferson County Building Code is set forth on the attached Exhibit "A" which is incorporated herein by reference.
3.That the proposed amendment to the Jefferson County Building Code is in the best interest of aand in accord with the public health, safety, morals, and general welfare of the citizens of Jefferson County; and
4.That it would be in the best interest of and in accord with public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the citizens of Jefferson County to temporarily waive the building permit fee for conversion of uncertified woodburning devices to gas, pellet, or Phase III appliances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed amendment to the Jefferson County Building Code as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein, be and hereby is adopted for the entire unincorporated area of Jefferson County for all applications for building permits filed with the Building Department on or after the 15th day of September, 1992.
Commissioner Ferdinandsen seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
