RESOLUTION NO. CC92-854

RE:SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION - SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, on the 12th day of December, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. CC91-1031, adopting the 1992 calendar year budget for Jefferson County; and

WHEREAS, an independent staffing study of the Detentions Facility confirms the need for increased staffing; and

WHEREAS, the Sheriff requests, and the Board of County Commissioners approves, implementation of the increased staffing as recommended by the study; and

WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has requested a Supplementary Budget and Appropriation in the total amount of 400,000.00 to fund the administrative salary budget for the remainder of 1992; and

WHEREAS, the Board has published notice that it would consider adoption of Resolution No. CC92-854 and prior to its consideration said publication was made on September 24, 1992 in the Golden Transcript.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, hereby and herewith authorizes a Supplementary Budget and Appropriation in the total amount of $400,000 to the Sheriff's Department for the purposes set forth above.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be filed with the Division of Local Government in the Department of Local Affairs by the Director of Administrative Services.

Commissioner Clement seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
