@@Commissioner Stone moved that the following Resolution be adopted:
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
Approval of Contract with Business Interiors, Inc.
for the purchase of furniture for
the new Administration/Judicial Facility.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners entered into a Contract with PCL Construction Services, Inc. for the construction of the new Administration/Judicial Facility which is nearing completion; and,
WHEREAS, there is insufficient useable furniture within the current County offices and the First Judicial District Offices to accommodate the design and functionability of the new Facility; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department solicited bids for seating from pre-qualified manufacturers and dealers; and,
WHEREAS, Business Interiors, Inc. was the low bidder for certain seating; and,
WHEREAS, Purchasing, the First Judicial District and the County's Staff Management Team have reviewed the product and price and recommend award of the bid to Business Interiors, Inc. for certain seating, (listed on Exhibit A) in the amount of $582,865.79, of which the County's portion is $46,922.23.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby and herewith approves the Contract with Business Interiors, Inc. for certain seating, and further authorizes the Chairman to execute the contract and authorizes and directs the Director of Administrative Services to issue the appropriate Purchase Order for the County's portion in the amount of $46,922.23 as listed on Exhibit A.
Commissioner Clement seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Marjorie E. Clement, Chairman AYE
The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
