@@Commissioner Stone moved that the following Resolution be adopted:
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
Approval of Contract for asphalt overlay for the Columbine Trail, between Jefferson County (the "County") and Asphalt Specialties Co., Inc., a Colorado Corporation, ("Asphalt") and authorization of Chairman to execute the same.
WHEREAS, on April 16, 1992, during a regularly scheduled meeting, the Jefferson County Open Space Advisory Committee, by a unanimous vote, recommended commencement of work on Park Development Projects which includes asphalt overlay for the Columbine Trail; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Purchasing Department solicited bids for asphalt overlay for the Columbine Trail; and
WHEREAS, Asphalt has submitted bids which were found to be the most advantageous to the County, price and other factors considered; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department and the Open Space Department recommend the acceptance of the bids of Asphalt; and
WHEREAS, a contract providing for asphalt overlay for the Columbine Trail has been executed by Asphalt.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County, hereby and herewith approves the Contract between Jefferson County and Asphalt in the amount of Twenty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty no/l00ths Dollars ($23,760.00) for asphalt overlay for the Columbine Trail and authorizes the Chairman of the Board to execute the same.
Commissioner Clement seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Marjorie E. Clement, Chairman AYE
The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
