@@Commissioner Stone moved that the following Resolution be adopted:
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
EQUIPMENT PURCHASING AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously authorized the purchase of equipment substantially as specified in the Road and Bridge, Fleet Analysis, 1991 Replacement Schedule (the "Equipment"), and has provided for the funding thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Board wishes to amend Resolution No. CC91-697 to allow for the purchase of additional Road and Bridge equipment substantially as specified in the schedule attached hereto, for a price which, when added to amounts previously spent pursuant to CC91-697, will not exceed the original amount funded for the Equipment Replacement Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, hereby authorizes staff to purchase the additional Equipment, including to award written bids, sign purchase orders, contracts, or other documents necessary or convenient to obtain the additional Equipment, and authorizes disbursement of funds to pay for the additional Equipment, all pursuant to a procedure adopted and approved by the Acting County Administrator/County Attorney, Director of Public Works, and Director of Administrative Services, which procedure provides for fiscal safeguards and for compliance with sound purchasing practices.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Administrative Services shall monthly report to the Board of County Commissioners regarding activity pursuant to this resolution.
Commissioner Clement seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
