@@Commissioner Stone moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC92-1018

RE:BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS - LEVY AND CERTIFICATION OF 1992 PROPERTY TAXES FOR 1993 REVENUE FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY AND ALL TAXING DISTRICTS WITHIN JEFFERSON COUNTY

WHEREAS, by Resolution CC92-1048, the County established its mill levy for 1993; and

WHEREAS, other taxing districts need not certify to the Board of County Commissioners their levies until December 15, 1992; and

WHEREAS, Section 39-1-111, C.R.S. 1982, provides that the Board of County Commissioners shall levy against the valuation of assessments of all taxable property located in the County no later than the 22nd day of December, 1992; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Administrative Services will prepare a Certification of Levies and Revenues which will set forth with particularity the various taxing districts within Jefferson County with the description of the status of the tax levies and revenues to be certified and levied; and

WHEREAS, the form for Certification of Levies and Revenues provided by the Colorado Division of Property Taxation requires execution by the Chairman of the Board, but the Chairman may be unavailable to execute the form during the period from December 15, 1992, the date by which taxing districts within Jefferson County are required to certify to the Board of County Commissioners their levies, until December 22, 1992, the date by which the Board must adopt a resolution levying in their behalf.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby and herewith enters an order levying against taxable property located within Jefferson County for each taxing district, including the County, the amounts as set forth in the Certification of Levies and Revenues to be completed no later than December 22, 1992.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby and herewith certifies to the County Assessor and to the Colorado Property Tax Administrator the mill levies as set forth in the Certification of Levies and Revenues and authorizes the Chairman, or if she is not available, Commissioner Ferdinandsen or Commissioner Stone, or if no Commissioner is available, the Director of Administrative Services to execute the Certification on its behalf.

Commissioner Clement seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner John P. Stone AYE

Commissioner Rich Ferdinandsen ABSENT

Commissioner Marjorie E. Clement, Chairman AYE

The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
